For two decades I've been capturing great moments in music.
As a bass player who discovered photography as an alternate means of expression, music came as a logical subject to me. Throughout the years I visited countless concerts and festivals, with the North Sea Jazz festival as a yearly returning main event. I always try to approach music photography as an art form rather than purely documentation. I participated in lots of exhibitions, earning a reputation as someone who is able to capture the passion and intentions of musicians. I also do assignments for artists, bands and record labels producing promotional material and cover art. By now, my work has been featured in publications worldwide.
